Westminster Chambers, Dale Street
The café occupies a unit in the block at 90–98 Dale Street and 1–3 Crosshall Street, built in 1879–80 in the Gothic style to designs by Richard Owens, with carving by Joseph Rogerson. Owens designed it as the headquarters of David Roberts & Co, a Liverpool land surveying and house-building firm.
Historic England describes grey rusticated stone with buff dressings and red granite window shafts, three storeys plus attics, and canted corners carrying dragons. Paired pointed-arched windows fill the upper floors beneath a machicolated cornice. The block contains shops and offices and was listed Grade II on 14 March 1975.
