Liverpool ONE and the Old Dock
Byron trades within Liverpool ONE, an open-air shopping and leisure district that opened in two phases, on 29 May and 1 October 2008, during Liverpool's year as European Capital of Culture. The scheme redeveloped 42 acres of the city centre, with each district designed by different architects rather than to a single uniform style.
The district's underground car park was built over the Old Dock, constructed in 1715 as the world's first wet dock. Archaeological investigation took place before construction began.
In December 2024 Landsec acquired Liverpool ONE from its original developer, Grosvenor Group.
