Neapolitan Pizza & Bar is a family-run independent on the street. It was the first pizzeria in Liverpool, and the eleventh in the UK, to be certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN), the Naples-based body that protects the traditional craft of Neapolitan pizza. Its head chef judges at the AVPN UK Pizza Championships.
Pizzas are wood-fired in the Neapolitan style, and gluten-free pizzas are prepared and cooked separately.
