The venue

Everyman Theatre

Liverpool's producing theatre on Hope Street, rebuilt by Haworth Tompkins and winner of the RIBA Stirling Prize in 2014.

What was here before: The Everyman stands where Hope Hall was built in 1837 as a dissenters' chapel. It became a church in 1841, a concert hall in 1853 and a cinema from 1912 to 1963, before the Everyman Theatre opened here in 1964.
