About Maria

Yoga for healing, not for performance

Maria is a yoga and meditation teacher who moved to Liverpool at the start of 2021. Originally from Poland, she studied Chinese and lived in China, where she first turned to guided meditation and a slower style of yoga to cope with stress and poor sleep. That experience shapes how she teaches today.

Her classes are deliberately gentle. Rather than pushing through a fast flow, she works with mindful movement, alignment, mobility and the breath, and adapts each session to the person in front of her. You do not need to be flexible, fit or experienced to start.

She completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training with Siddhi Yoga and has taken further courses in mental health and yoga therapy, with more than six years of teaching experience. Alongside her Liverpool classes she shares free practices on her YouTube channel.
