A vibrant Indian street food restaurant on one of Liverpool’s most loved
independent streets, where layers of commerce, music and counterculture
have been building for over a century.
Three centuries of trade and talk
From drapers to dreamers
Bold Street developed as a commercial street serving the growing middle
class of a booming port. Drapers, bookshops and specialist retailers
attracted people with money, curiosity and opinions.
In the 20th century, the street became associated with music, alternative
culture and independent spirit. Its buildings have seen changing fashions
in clothes, records, coffee and now global food.
The spot where Mowgli stands is steeped in the energy of people browsing,
discussing, flirting and experimenting with new tastes and ideas.
Present day
Strings of lights, shared tables, fast stories
Today Mowgli’s interior glows with warm lights, hanging swings and
dishes designed for sharing. Food arrives quickly, conversations flow
even faster.
In the Action Path journey, this is your reminder that spiritual or
energetic work does not have to be serious and heavy. Playful meals in
high-vibration corridors are also part of the path.
Book a table, breathe in the spices and ask yourself where life is
inviting you to be a little braver and lighter.
Your venue is now officially recognised as a Strategic Energy Location within the Old Town Liverpool Project. To increase your exposure and appear in our upcoming campaigns, join as a partner with a small monthly contribution.
